Rotorua Bungy and Swoop opened for operation in late 1998. The physical surroundings are magnificent which adds to the overall experience you will encounter on your visit.

Rotorua Bungy offers the ultimate Adrenalin Rush! This is the true adventure experience. Rotorua bungy provides some of the most spectacular views of the district, Lake Rotorua, Mokoia Island and far below the trout filled Ngongotaha Stream.

As you stand on the purpose built tower, 43 meters above scenic farmland, you’ll hear your jump master call “3, 2, 1 Bungy! Then you take the leap of faith.

The Swoop consists of specially designed hang gliding harnesses where you are cocooned inside. Up to three people can participate in a Swoop at one time, the more people the better the ride.

You nominate who pulls the ripcord on command and you are winched 40 meters sky high above the Ngongotaha Stream. Your jumpmaster will call ‘ready on the ripcord’ and as you release yourself; you plunge towards the earth at 130kmph.
