Pure Cruise is a unique eco-sailing experience just 20 minutes from Rotorua Township. ‘Tiua’, the stylish 53-foot yacht sails daily from Lake Rotoiti on a selection of sailing packages which comprise of a morning Soak and Sail, afternoon Daily Sail, an evening Sunset Sail and Exclusive Private Charters.
In this less visited area of Rotorua, guests enjoy private beaches, secluded coves and bush-clad shorelines rich in cultural history and historical landmarks. The interactive nature of the cruise offers relaxing to energetic activities including sailing ‘Tiua’, soaking in the Manupirua hot pools, trout fishing and swimming. With the spacious saloon, cockpit and deck areas, ‘Tiua’ can host up to 50 guests during the summer months and up to 35 guests during the winter months. Wherever possible, seasonal and local produce is sourced and freshly prepared by top Chef Jonathon Beattie of the Duxton Hotel, giving visitors a fantastic New Zealand culinary experience.
Pure Cruise, in partnership up with Kawarau Jets, Helipro and Volcanic Air, offer a fantastic selection of combo products. Kawarau Jets, situated on Rotorua’s lake front, thrills guests with an adrenaline pumped ride across Lake Rotorua and up through the scenic Ohau channel to Lake Rotoiti. Disembarking at the Manupirua hot pools, clients enjoy a relaxing soak in the thermal pools or a refreshing swim in the lake, before joining the Skipper and Crew of Pure Cruise aboard ‘Tiua’.
