We can also combine from Lake Tarawera with scenic helicopter and float plane trips including flights over the volcanic craters of Mt Tarawera or over the active White Island crater.

For an exciting  experience, try our BBQ lunch or dinner which is cooked on board. by our friendly skipper and hostess. While you soak in the warm waters of Hot Water Beach with a glass of wine, they will prepare your BBQ which is ready when you return. We also offer trout smoking, or for a novel experience, we can cook your trout buried in the hot beach sand.

Feel energetic? We can cruise to Tarawera Outlet on the Eastern side of the lake where you will disembark and take an easy hike on the Tarawera River Trail to view the spectacular Tarawera Falls. This waterfall is unique because all the water from the river disappears into underground caverns before exiting at a point halfway up a steep cliff. Be enthralled as you witness the river gushing out of the cliff face and plummeting 60 feet to the pool below.
