Bill and Gay Kingi have lived in this home for 12 years and have made the downstairs area into a 2 bedroom ( one queen bed, 2 singles) self contained apartment.
Before settling here they lived around the Pacific Islands for many years and have some lovely art work on display.
Bill is a decendant of the Maori people who, when they arrived in NZ settled on Mokoia Is, later settling in the lovely village of Ohinemutu in the city of Rotorua. Bill and Gay often share a BBQ and a bottle of wine with guests if they wish and tell stories of this region.
Gay can arrange tours and suggest some out of the way places for you to visit that most visitors never get to see.
